Burning Man 2005: The Lamplighters
Between Ranger headquarters and our place at Kids Camp lies Lamplighter Camp.
The lamplighters are indespensible, and yet so many folks miss their daily parade through our city, with glowing lanterns set upon long poles balanced from their shoulders.
Here's the back of the Lamplighter staging area, with one of the delivery vehicles parked in front, ready for the evening's rounds.
 In their robes of service, complete with the flames of the lamps adorning their hems, the Lamplighters get ready for their evening ritual lighting of the lanterns.
