Burning Man 2000 Lamplighters
As the afternoon wears on, and dusk approaches, the Lamplighters get ready to light up our fair city. During the day they've been cleaning, assembling, and filling the oil lanterns. Now they're loaded onto the bearer's poles and the procession begins to leave Center Camp and head out around the city.
 Ready for all sorts of inclement weather (and dust), and hopefully the beneficiary of a recent trip to the porta-potties.

 ... and let it pass me by, trying to get the perfect photo.
 All away, dozens of bearers, heading down each of the walkways and the Esplanade.
 We are getting ready for nighttime on the Esplanade.
