2003 London: Covent Garden Markets
Friday 31 January 2003, continued
We come up from the London Underground at the Leicester Square stop, since the Covent Garden stop is open only from 1300-1700 on Saturdays. Here you can see the Covent Garden Market building covered in snow. That's Rose and Lila in the foreground.
![]() Inside the open-air marketplace - the tented area - is a second-story eating area. Each time we visit London I make sure to have a fast-food Indian food here. Isaac ate a few garbonzo beans, a papadum, a bit of spinach and potato, but it was all just a mite spice for him. But he wasn't really happy with the spaghetti with parmesano either. I think he's fighting the flu that's got the girls.
![]() It's really cold outside, and the girls have already gone into London's Transport Museum.
