Another new behavior is playing the Running Away game.
Isaac notices that you're walking in his direction and he dives in the opposite direction.
Here you see him opening the door which leads into the eating nook from our bedroom. (Yes, we know that's dangerous, and we put the doorstop in place. Isaac's fingers are safe.)
We have a lot of nicknames for Isaac. In the series above you can see Frustration Boy. Sometimes, out of the blue, Isaac cries about something. We look at him, speak with him, give him a kiss and hug, and more often than not the mood is over in a few seconds.
Another time that Frustration Boy often makes an appearance is at diaper-changing time. (Actually, on our recent trip to London we discovered the word "nappies". We much prefer this to "diapers".) Here's a typical event: Isaac comes running to Papa, but once on the changing space (now located on the floor rather than on top of the tansu) he squirms and squeals a fake cry.
We have a new sushiya in the neighborhood. Come sit with us.
