Album 1999.10.28
We're back! Isaac is excited about it, it seems. It's been a busy week since our last update, but for the life of me I can't remember anything specific. Just raising a baby in the city. A pleasure, with little rest. This installment of the album will show our home life, in contrast to most of our dispatches, which centered on events and trips. I hope you enjoy it.
The big advance for the week was unearthing security holes in our babyproofing plans. Here you see Isaac discovering that closet doors slide horizontally, and that treasures lie within. Sigh. We've had to move the crib and his kitchen toy so that the doors are less easy for him to open (but still accessible to us, as our clothes are inside).
Auntie Pooh came over to visit one evening. Isaac was happy to play with her. They started out at the back of the house, in the bedroom.
Then they moved into the living room, where the play continued through Isaac's baby barrier. He's getting more and more sure on his feet. It's a pleasure to watch his explorations, and the grin that plays across his face as his confidence grows
