Album 1999.10.12 (c)
We have a new sushiya in the neighborhood: Osaka Sushi. (We were the second customers in the door; we were first, but as the doors were opening a neighborhood barfly jumped in front of us.) The food is good, the prices a bit pricey, but it's convenient beyond belief.
![]() There one evening was (from left to right) Isaac, my sister Felicia, her husband Adam, Rose's sister Pamela, Rose, Isaac, and me. (Of course we don't have two Isaacs - I pasted together several photos of us to make this panorama.) Isaac really loves being with his Aunt Fel. Here he's being his usual shy self with her, laughing over some in-joke.
This is doubly wonderful to see, as Isaac seems to show his testy side while at Osaka Sushi. Right from the beginning this is the venue for his impatience at dinner engagements. We've taken him to dozens of other places, but here he finds things too interesting to even pretend - for the parents benefit - that he wants anything other than to run around (except that he can't yet run).
![]() The Tired Parents :-) Ever wonder when Naked Boy will make an appearance?
