Burning Man 2004: San Francisco Decompression / Nighttime
Right across from the main entrance was this spinning wheel of propane. The kids loved it, especially as it flared, warming their faces.
![]() An el-wire butterfly atop a pole flew around the park area (where most of the children played).
![]() Three people festooned with blue and white cotton balls astride a motor scooter similarly decorated (with two rainbow mushrooms). Curiouser and curioser.
![]() Lila loved to hang from the first level of a curvy geodesic dome play structure.
![]() The whole ohana (with Isaac facing the other way) on the Moon Swing.
![]() A family photo just before Isaac announced he was tired and wanted to go home. For him to admit to being tired...
![]() As we left, to our amazing parking spot a block away from the main gate, we saw one of the propane flamethrowers blasting flames and smoke into the overpass (and even up around the sides, but I couldn't catch that).
![]() A great time was had by all, and of course, it's less than eleven months until Burning Man 2005.
