Burning Man 2003: Journal p. 23
Saturday, cont. - Honor goes up in flames. Isaac is having a good time (but missing his toy trains), Lila is at one with the playa, but neither is doing a really good job of eating. We haven't been at home (other than a few days, packing for Burning Man) since 1 July. 8 wks. Rose and I are weary, and that's making everything else harder. I'm sad the event is ending tomorrow, but without a full belly of fire it's hard to be there for it all. So we'll go a day early, go home and recover from all the heat, humidity, airline mistakes and delays, family, and whatnot of our trip & blackout in New York trip. And begin to plan for next year! Making the decision made it much easier to navigate this, our last day at BM2K3.
