Burning Man 2003: Journal p. 6
Tuesday - Last night there was so much more I wanted to write about the ambiance of Black Rock City, the brass "disco ball" and walking labyrinth in Center Camp Café, about the differences in being here alone and here with family, and the differences in my 1996 trip with girlfriend Rose and this trip with wife and mother Rose, and even the differences in the event over the years>, but I was very tired and didn't get a chance to.
Today started out overcast & cool. After a very quick breakfast Rose and I took the kids on a tour of Black Rock City. Center Camp, about a minute away from Kidsville, was a big hit. Isaac and I watch acrobatics; the girls club wandered about. A dust storm came up; Center Camp is the best place to be: dust free. Then we used the stroller to wander down the promenade to the Man.
