Burning Man 2003: Journal p. 3
Monday, cont. - Kidsville. Lefty comes by; he's across the street at the Alternative Energy Zone. The day isn't too hot, but very dusty. I set up the space so Rose and the kids can sleep in the van. The "pantry" takes up the other part. Clothes and sleeping bags are in storage boxes arranged around our tarp. (Oh, the chute handily survived the dust storms. Only the guys needed a quick pull to tighten 'em up. I set up the small Israeli chute along the other part of the central shade structure.)
Isaac and I ride along in Gross' purple Bug (to the gate so the photo for my ESD laminate may be taken.) We hitch a ride back in the camper of a first-timer couple. The day is spent with the kids playing in the (next page)
