1995 Gran Canaria: Around the Island 22 Oct 1995 We jump into the car and take a trip to the town of Puerto Rico. The built-up part of the town - what seems like thousands of condos - and the old town can best be seen from an overpass which spans the island-circling highway. Getting into the old town is a pleasure: the architecture is a bit like a frontier town with Venice thrown in. At the harbor we watch a fishing boat come in to port. Climbing up through the old town I realize I'm at a pretty spot. I take some pictures and stitch them together into a panorama. Then it's off to 1995 Gran Canaria: Puerto Mogán.
