At the end of a long day it's time to take a moment and reflect on the profundities of the day's learnings, be they blocks, running from the nappy-changers, or a quiet contemplation of good hiding places for toys.
![]() Then it's time for the evening nappy change, and the re-appearance of our hero, Naked Boy. I never tire of hearing his little laugh as he scrambles around the bedroom, away from us.
One of Isaac's favorite toys is our (real) cordless telephone. He has a black toy telephone of his own, but he eschews it in favor of hunting down our phone handset and playing with it. Funnier still is that his little fingers naturally hit the on button, so we have to be watchful that he doesn't call Timbuktu or the Cape of Good Hope.
Funnier yet is that Rose and I occasionally pick up Isaac's toy phone thinking its the working model. And now we come to the last page of this entry, where we see a photo of Isaac feeding himself for the first time...
