Burning Man 2003: Journal p. 25
Saturday, cont. - I penned a screed to Gigsville's Half Dome, a good friend met year after year in the burn circle. At last year's burn we sat inside the perimeter and chatted about the fault in raising that year's Man. This year his ashes are inside the Man, and soon Half Dome will forever be a part of the playa.
The ride home, in waves of dust, was fun. Here and therewe could see artwork. People too.
Camp struck. Potluck (or have I been writing potlatch?) cooked and enjoyed. Best of show was LA David's pork loin. Mmmm. Get dressed and head out to the Man.
Lila balks; wants to go "home". Isaac and I stroll through the multitude of colorful & noisy art cars, past crowds of spectators ringed around the Man, a perimeter established and held by the Rangers. The crowd
