Burning Man 2003: Journal p. 10
Tuesday, cont. - a sign asking "How do you kiss? Let me rate you!" Folks following the labrynth under the lighted ball. A singer sounding like Leon Redbone. A damsel in relationship distress, whom I walked back to her camp. "Ranger Norman", off-duty. I like Center Camp.
Listening to the Ranger radio is fun too: a four-level bus on fire in an intersection, a chest pain case going out via a helicopter "care flight", an EMT telling me they "stopped and reset" a patient's heart [chemically] and returning him to the city population. Never a dull moment in our rapidly-growing city.
It's a pleasure being home again. Noisy, crazy, but full of music, art, love, and weirdness. I can do without the long lines at the café and the Porta-Potties, but other than that "it's all good" in Black Rock City.
