Central Amsterdam is made up of three concentric canals. This is one of the bridges; this one has a drawbridge for sailboats. None of these mechanisms are new :-)
![]() Other bridges don't have lifting sections. This bridge has two small holes, through which a tourist sightseeing boat is squeezing through. (Note the Amsterdam crest on the side of the bridge, between the bore holes.)
