20090307 Isaac's Big Flu: A bug which took out 2/3 of Isaac's classmates got him, and because we're at Bubbie's house Rose couldn't find the humidifier. By early morning Isaac was sore and raspy, so a quick trip to the hospital for a nebulizer, followed by our own humidifier, took care of it all. But this is why we've not done a video in a week.

20090306 Renovation Report #1 - Plans of Attack: As our cottage's basement gets renovated I'm making video snapshots of the process. This is report #1, as various plans of attack for prep, cribbing, excavation, etc. are discussed.

20090304 GGMRC Maintenance Day: If it's Wednesday it *must* be maintenance day at the Golden Gate Model Railroad Club (GGMRC), at the Randall Museum in San Francisco, California. Today the track-cleaning trains are readied and let loose and a wall is attached to a new part of the yards by Mike and Isaac. Guest appearances by John and Jim.

20090301 Moving to Bubbie's: I spent today, Sunday, moving things from the basement into the house (in preparation for meeting with the renovation crew foreman). The wife and kids packed their things, and at dusk we headed out over the hill to grandmother's house (in West Portal).
