The Dollhouse: Thank-You Letter
Monday 29 June 1998
Dear Ms. C-----,
Thank you so very much for selling your home to us! Our agent told us of your decision on Saturday, and since we've been on cloud nine. We went with him to the house to take measurements and make a floor plan. We're planning the actions we need to take between now and the close of escrow, and we've started the process of working with consultants, contractors, landscapers, and architects to fortify the house and gardens. The house will enter the next century in fine shape, with a long life ahead of it, without the threat of having an obstructing garage built on the grounds or other such indignity.
Then there's the delightful duty of baby-proofing. Starting a family is sweet, and we very much appreciate having a charming place in a safe neighborhood in which to raise a child.
I'm hoping we will have a chance to exchange letters or meet and to hear stories of your adventures on States Street.
With fondest wishes,
Rose Shoshanna and Michael Samuel Sattler
