Salzburg
Salzburg is a wonderful city to visit. Even in the rain it's picturesque. The inhabitants are pleasant and the stores have a rich selection of goods (which rise far above the tourist souvenirs generally found).
The center of town is a beautiful square. In the following panorama you can see the castle high atop the hill, upper left.
 The view from the castle is equally impressive. The roofs of the old city are oxidized copper.
 Many photos of Salzburg appear in the travel report of our 1999 family get-together trip.
