1999 Austria / London / Munich: We hike at Arthurhaus Ritt
Above the alpingasthaus Bergheimat is Arthurhaus Ritt, a trailhead into the Alps.
There's Rosie at the gate, waiting for me to finish taking pictures. We continue on the path, to the wooden houses in the distance.
There we stop at a pastoral scene, complete with goats and horses, and a still pond. We hear cowbells in the distance.
Above all else are the Alps, rising into the heights.
Next, we consider moving on.
