2004 Truckee-Donner: The Association Pool
Wednesday 30 June 2004
The storm which missed us yesterday followed us back to Truckee-Donner. Lightning and thunder through the night, but clear sunny skies in the morning. We enjoyed the bingo last night, nearby the pool, but the kids really want to be in the water. Enough teasing. After a good breakfast we're off to the pool. This is one of the few photos of Lila without her Jackie-O sunglasses.
![]() Isaac is thrilled with crossing the pool in his life jacket. He and I cruise to all corners of the watery deep, chatting with adults and children alike.
![]() All the time in the sun and water wears on the kids, and they're ready for a good sleep. Here's Auntie Pamela reading a bed-time book to the kids. Isaac slept in the top bunk, I under him, Pamela on the bottom of the other bunk, Lila retreated to the other big bedroom, with Rose.
![]() Tomorrow we head back to historical downtown Truckee to partake in the experience of the California Zephyr & Piper's Patisserie.
