Public CU-SeeMe Reflectors

Being able to interact with others is the cornerstone of CU-SeeMe. This page contains what I believe to be the most comprehensive list of public CU-SeeMe reflectors world-wide. If you know of, or operate, a reflector machine that doesn't appear here, please visit the "Add My Reflector" page.

This web page is copyrighted 1994-2008 by Michael 'Mickey' Sattler, all rights reserved. You may not make copies of this web page or its contents and pass them off as your work, nor may you include it in on-line magazines without my written "PGP"-signed permission. I will gladly allow folks overseas to mirror my web pages as long as I have the ability to directly update your mirror. You may make links to this page; it won't be going away any time soon.

I hate to start off a web page with a legal notice, but amount of (incompetent) plagarism and commercial use of my web pages has forced me to put one on this page.)

There are several variants of the list. Please make sure you're taking the appropriate one.

How? Download a list by mousing down on the link until a pop-up appears. Select the "Save this link as..." option. If you don't, the list will appear in a browser window. If you cut-and-paste you may be losing significant information (such as the tab character in the list for Cornell University's CU-SeeMe client).

*   *   * Macintosh Windows
Cornell University CU-SeeMe Download this, rename it "CUSeeMe Nicknames" (no dash in the name), and drag it to the Preferences folder in your System Folder. Download this and put it in the same directory as the CU-SeeMe client.
White Pine "Enhanced" CU-SeeMe Download this, rename it "Enhanced CU-SeeMe™ Nicknames" (type Option-2 to produce the '™' on your Macintosh), and drag it to the Enhanced CU-SeeMe™ Settings folder in your Preferences folder in your System Folder. Download this and put it in the same directory as the CU-SeeMe client.

The various nickname lists are generated by running a master list through a Perl script. Both are available for your amusement.
