trip's start

The kids are very excited when we get to our next spot, where there's snow on the ground and the planes. That's what one gets with San Francisco kids; snow is exotic. Rose is pushing Lila in the prom (stroller) while Isaac pushes our carry-on luggage. I love the Christmas decorations in the airport. (Rose thinks Lila is asleep in this picture. Could be; she's good at cameling up when necessary.) As dawn approaches the plane before us leaves our bay, as the ground crew take a short break throwing snowballs at each other. It's great to see them laughing and weaving and bobbing and tossing.
