2005 Iceland: Kerið crater Saturday 8 October 2005 Keri©£ is an old explosion crater in the Grímsnes region. It is now filled with water, creating a green lake surrounded by steep circular slopes. The crater is 55 metres deep and ~3000 years old, and is a part of a group of volcanic hills called Tjarnarhólar (lake hills). ![]() ![]() ![]()
