trip's beginning

Wake up in hunter's hotel, continue down Rhine, cross over after the Germania, visit the Gasselstr, skip the Eck connection of Rhine & Mosul, head up the Mosul, snack and swim and get bowled over by a barge wake, find lodgings in place with swimming pool. Ate dinner there: excellent salmon with spaghetti and pfefferlinge (kids and Rose, except with semelknodle), and pork medallions with pfefferlinge (Charlie and me).

Hot night, but not as hot as last night's third-floor oscillating fan adventure.
