2002 San Francico: Dykes On Bikes Parade, p. 3
It's tossing beads from the balconies to passers-by who bare their breasts.
![]() When the crowd walks by a balcony with revelers they start cheering until the beads, candy, and confetti start flying. This is the before picture.
![]() This is the after picture. Did they get a full collection of blue, purple, lavender, and silver beads? I don't know, but I saw so many people sporting a neckfull.

![]() ...this one a Victorian (or an Edwardian, I can never tell) house. Notice the curved windows.
![]() This one is from the painted lady at Sanchez and 16th. They dumped piles of confetti on the street, dusting the crowd and covering the parked cars.
