We took off from the indoor market and headed outside into the still-balmy air. (In December!) Crossing the Rambla once again - playing the part of the bull to the automotive toreadors - we started down winding streets and alleys. Lots of pretty shops, some boring ones, and an alarming amount of international chain stores.

We made it to an outdoor market, where we sampled the local cheeses, sausages, and something to drink.

Onward, ever onward, to the great church.

Lastly, on the rushed way back to the train station, we stopped into a local shop for some bocadillo (sandwiches). I had mine with a cappucino.

Next? On to the African continent for the first time.
